Flexible Delivery Options...

Introduction
National Security Training Academy are the leaders in face to face training of Australian Security Officers training about 3000 applicants per year, we are firm believers in the value of face to face training delivered by qualified and experienced instructors especially in the initial security licensing qualifications.

We have identified needs for flexible delivery options, in remote regions, and for some courses to existing workers who are improving their skills, knowledge and qualifications.

Each course listed in our online training section is available via flexible delivery of training material and arrangements for assessment, the course information will clearly explain how training and assessment are undertaken.

Our flexible delivery course structure will not always remove the requirement to attend classes but will assist in reducing the contact time, in most cases training can be delivered either online or externally, with assessment of underpinning knowledge conducted online, and skills assessment assessed either on the job or in our classrooms

Flexible delivery is it for you?

The design flexible delivery options of our training courses and programs has been undertaken to assist those people who would otherwise be disadvantaged, by reasons on distance for example they live in remote regions, and cannot gain access to a course, or due to time restraints caused by employment or personal reasons and are unable to access our courses during scheduled dates.

Legal issues
Some state and territory licensing authorities specifically require that instruction for Certificate II in Security Operations courses leading to the issue of a Security Licence takes place during scheduled classes with mandated minimum hours, in a face to face training session, delivered by an instructor who is licensed in the State.

These States are Victoria and New South Wales.

Further Information
The best source of information in relation to flexible delivery courses is your local training centre, where when you enrol you will be appointed a facilitator to handle all your inquiries.
